SOF2MP: BARD is short for “Soldier Of Fortune 2 Multiplayer: Bots And Realistic Damage. The original aim of SOF2MP: BARD was to add an integrated realistic damage mode to the standard SOF2 multiplayer, as well as bots, whilst making minimal changes to the code. As BARD has progressed, the mod has slowly been jam-packed with great features, weapons, extra gore, and new gametypes to spice up SOF2 - all without sacrificing the original gameplay. Server administrators have the option to turn on or off at least 95% of BARD's features - so they are always in control of how the game plays. BARD is certainly a great alternative to vanilla Soldier Of Fortune 2 - download it now!

It's been a month since the release of B.A.R.D 1.3 for Soldier Of Fortune 2 - and I can now safely tell you that there will be at least one more version of B.A.R.D on the way.

B.A.R.D 1.4 is progressing well - focusing on squashing bugs, improving all of the great features packed into B.A.R.D 1.3, as well as combining these features with a fully-functioning administration/referee system which will rival, or at least equal, that of OSP.

The first of several beta versions of 1.4 will be available in a couple days, and as feedback comes in I will be squashing bugs and adding features. Once version 1.4 is up to scratch - it will be unleashed on the public in the form of an "official" version.
