Back to the Future: Hill Valley is a full conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Back to the Future: Hill Valley will be based on the Back to the Future Trilogy, allowing the player to re-enact all the great moments from the films. ok i have created a monster out of marty and somehow these new models of bodyguards who i have never seen anywhere in vice city!!! i think i've morphed a body guard with marty..lol

i was trying to create marty bodyguards by playing around with pga.txd and player.dff following instructions in the topic "easy way to play as doc and marty", although obviously something went wrong.......lol
the only good thing (i think) about this is that i accidently seemd to have found away to have the marty skin have an open jacket on the front, but not have it on the back. i think it has something to do with alpha and bitmap textures....
anyway thought it looked funny and if anyone know how to fix it, i.e return marty to normal and have marty bodyguards, that would be very helpful thanks!!!

lol....ok, getting better, although what i'm aiming for is to have four martys standing there. Still have no clue where those new bodies on the bodyguargs came from, never seen em before...???

i changed the pga.txd to the marty skin, then renamed pga.dff to player.dff...it got quite confusing..is any of that right?

um, i might have made a pga-old.txd file, to back it up, but other than that just .dff files.

ok thanks, just to clarify...
1) change texture of pga.txd to doc/marty (by opening up pga.txd in workshop, replacing image of bodyguard with bitmap skin of doc/marty only (so do not import alpha texture)
2) make a copy of player.dff (from exporting it), rename the copy of the player.dff to "pga.dff" and add to archive
3) rename the original pga. dff file to something like pga-old.dff so there is only one in archive
4) hit rebuild archive and close

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! you saw my last post...surely if you just wanted to make tommys look like martys all you have to do is change the txd texture from the tommy BMP to the marty BMP, but instead this comes up!! argh i tried everything!!!

If your bodyguards look like ghosts, try to replace pga.txd also in the txd.img file....It works for the cars, so why not for this....
