basicly spend alot live a little

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

You'd just be better off to buy a whole new computer. Compaq's are a waste of money and time.

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

i cant mom wont get a new one till late next year

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

Well then Get a Job and buy one yourself.

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

you don't need 4gb of ram. 2 is usually enough for most stuff. CPU's not much of a problem. Your biggest worry is your graphics card. It's in my computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager>display adaptors

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

Yah its a VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

and i cant get a job because im (duh) 12 , idiot

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

Yeah you can, Babysit, mow lawns, shovel snow during the winter?

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

Lay off of him. He's only 12.

Yeah, i'd say get a new graphics card. I never even heard of it. If you get enough money, go Nvidia GeForce or ATI Radeon, though Nvidia is preferable these days. 8000 series would be top of the line.

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

i know you dont need 4 gigs of ram but im saying if its a good enough computer dont waste ur money just save up and get something you really want..
like a nintendo wii or something
(4 gigs of ram is sarcasim)

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

i doubt his vid card's good enough. Onboard video cards aren't good for gaming.

Aug 25 2007 Anchor

This is why I don't like little kids on the internet.

To check your video card specs, go to run and type "dxdiag" Then go to the Display tab.
