I own a stock 2002 Compaq persario, i want to upgrade but i dont know what to upgrade, save, and change please help?

Wow, thats a fast processor and graphics card you have. How do you expect us to know what to upgrade if you don't even give us your machine specs?

its says that this is my general computer info, AMD athalon XP 2800+ then it says 2.8 ghz and 1.43 GB of Ram

you don't need 4gb of ram. 2 is usually enough for most stuff. CPU's not much of a problem. Your biggest worry is your graphics card. It's in my computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager>display adaptors

Yeah, i'd say get a new graphics card. I never even heard of it. If you get enough money, go Nvidia GeForce or ATI Radeon, though Nvidia is preferable these days. 8000 series would be top of the line.

i know you dont need 4 gigs of ram but im saying if its a good enough computer dont waste ur money just save up and get something you really want..
like a nintendo wii or something

i doubt his vid card's good enough. Onboard video cards aren't good for gaming.

To check your video card specs, go to run and type "dxdiag" Then go to the Display tab.
