Just got 0.2b running and noticed a problem with the new RC feature. I had the Time Circuits on and was at the Airport where I was going to have the car drive right past me, hoping to get it to hit exactly 88mph at the spot. Anyway, as I drove it down to see approximately how far I had to go to hit 88, I hit the breaks just as it was at the 87-88 range... right before it goes back in time. Right as I hit the back button to slow down, the screen changed to me in the RC van with blue everywhere. I have only encountered this once, but I'm gonna try to get it to happen again doing that same thing. |

Bug noted and fixed. Forgot about the reset camera thing. Reset camera occurs when you're about to time travel and it goes to the cinematics, but something like a wall slows you down before you hit the magic speed, so the reset camera puts the camera behind the car again. I got rid of the cinematics for rc, but completely forgot about reset camera, which puts the camera behind the van that does all the rc. Thanks for the bug notice. Edited by: Delorean88us |

I guess I could throw this other bug in, as it has to do with the RC. When I go into RC Mode and time travel, the time traveling function gets disabled. Meaning after you time travel in RC Mode, you have to start a new game to be able to time travel. Deloreans stop time traveling, they start to damage, etc. Happened to me a few times. |

oh yeah, if there's a delorean thats in the process of time traveling (after rc for instance), you can't get another one and time travel. There's only one time travel thread in the code and it can only support one delorean at a time, so limit your rc time traveling trips to short ones if you want to keep on time traveling. |

yeah, no way around it. Hovering requires constant teleporting of the car, and sometimes it overwrites other cars. The delorean has the same problem. |

yep. All the 2015 cars will be like that. can't really make a handling.cfg for hovering cars, lol. |

i like to keep the delorean's ability to role and pitch, instead of only yawing like griff's bmw. |

Ya, I love how the DeLorean flys. It reminds me a lot of the BTTF Ride at Universal. |

RC MODE IT DOESEN'T WORKS AT ME. WHAT ARE THE CONTROLS? |
||
Apr 23 2007 Anchor | ||
action + sprint to active normal buttons to drive. dont press shoot. the delorean will blow up |
||
Apr 23 2007 Anchor | ||
do you mean sprint:shift and action:accelerate? |
||

never mind it works |

I don't know if you would quite call this a bug or not, but if you take remote control of the delorean and drive it to the island opposite from the one you are on, the island doesn't load properly and the textures are all screwed up. Then again, as long as you don't use loading screens in any of the hill valley maps, this wont be a problem. |

yeah, thats probablly why rockstar had the distance limit for rc missions. To keep the player from exploring the other side. |
