Just remember, it's still in it's early stages, so there's a couple of bugs. Sparrow displaying for one. The red paint you see as well from the original sparrow carcols (I don't remember there ever being a red)

love it! is it only gonna be on the 04 Delorean tho?

Aug 21 2007 Anchor

That looks awesome, so smooth but I'd need to try the controls first, before I judge it.

Aug 21 2007 Anchor

no, i'm updating the other one of well. Because of the sea sparrow...the 04 might get a gun

Controls are the same as the helicopter. Only control added was the forward gas, which is handbrake in this case. A bit hard to get use to, especially since when using it, you need to roll AND yaw, and to turn, and pitch to keep it from falling. Well, you can turn with pitch and roll too actually.

Alright! it's a lot more realistic than this 0.2c hovering mode in every way, anyway. i had no problem at all controlling regular helicopters. looking forward to try it.

Aug 21 2007 Anchor

should be less buggy then the current system. Most notably...the disappearing car/ped syndrome.

Aug 21 2007 Anchor

yeah... seriously, that's something i hadn't really pay attention to when i was playing, but it's a darn good reason too. When getting in a helicopter, there's always a 3 seconds or so we have to wait for the rotor to start, is that still gonna be or we can skip that to directly take off?

Aug 21 2007 Anchor

well, i found it, if hit the handbrake to go forward, it skips the start up rotor.

Aug 21 2007 Anchor

so can u give me this now just to try it on a slower computer

Aug 21 2007 Anchor

it definitely won't work in it's current state. Besides, i'm still tweaking it.

Aug 21 2007 Anchor

well when ur done

Aug 22 2007 Anchor

Ronny, changing a simple handling file won't make your computer faster. Upgrade the damn thing.

Aug 22 2007 Anchor

firstly, nobody said anything about handling line. secondly, nobody said anything about making his comp work faster. he simply wanted to test how it works on a s**t computer. which i dont really see the point in but, whatever

Aug 22 2007 Anchor

will the new delorean/chopper have the right noises or the helicopter and the right shadow?

Aug 22 2007 Anchor

the reason i wanted to try it on a slower computer is because my friends play this mod and they also have slow computers, just trying to test it out on a lower com because some peoples parents wont get it upgraded

Aug 22 2007 Anchor

Don't worry about it. I'll just make it so slow computers are able to get up to say 95 to 100 mph, but that means fast computers can go even faster. Haha, thats funny how the speed of the delorean depends on your computer.

Is the train's hover conversion getting an overhaul as well? There's not alot of choppers to use but only one is really needed, for the re-entry to 1985 scene. Which brings two questions to mind, can you mod the helicopter to have a light to shine on the clocktower, and will Hill Valley have a helicopter that one can hijack...borrow?

Aug 23 2007 Anchor

I posted earlier about something wrong with my controls, i couldn't rise up in hover mode, i went to the menu but couldn't figure out how to get it back up, what controls do you change to fix this?

Aug 24 2007 Anchor

you can always restart the game and it'll tell you which controls. I think handbrake and horn.
