when I try to open the file is just says
"file access denied"

I am using vista ultimate x86 with UAC (user account control off)

the file does not have any protection on it (read only is turned off)

is there any reason why?

Uncheck "read only" from Vice city folder.

vista has problems with modding i believe.

copy it to the desktop, install the sounds, then copy it back

see if that works

it's automatic. Or it is under XP. Not sure about Vista and it's stupid admin required thing.

Vista has some protect ware, which makes it hard for the gamers.

Yeah, if thats the case, installing will be harder for Vista users. Unfortunately, i don't have vista, so i don't know if it works or not. No one does. I may release a manual version of the mod so they can install it if they let me know that it doesn't work.

I hope the new release works with the sounds :)
