GTA SOL + GTA BTTF = ? Thread - Back to the Future: Hill Valley mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

i've searched in this forum but didn't find my awnser
i just want to know how can you add the maps of gta:sol in the gta bttf mod?
i mean WICH files we how to copy and paste?
i'm afraid to screw up my game and reinstall

this has been discussed before. both mods use the main.scm file so unless you can code you cant do it

we cannot even use the maps only?

Never tried. I assume you might want this.

Install SOL. Install BTTF. You will be missing SOL parked cars and cows though, but thats not a big deal. Yet.

Hmm, I don't think that'll work, cuz me and someone else (can't remember his name) already tried it, and you gt an unhandled exception, so i wouldn't even bother trying unless you want headaches and have alot of Tylenol.

ok. Yeah, sol has lots of stuff changed in it, so maybe some memory overflow error with the mod or something.

yeh the other guy was me. i wouldnt bother if i was you. it's just unhandled handled exception everytime

I've tried installing SOL and then installing BttF... it doesn't work.

I am afraid to try because of the buildings, that change after you time-travel from 1986 to 87.

oh yeah, don't forget the numerous improvements made to vice city, like that trailer park.....bttf certainly has no support for those.

Bttf also doesn't have support for other locations... So only coding will help I am afraid. Sorry if I said something wrong.

yes, it is wrong. The other locations are the same as adding say...a beach park to vice city with bttf installed. It's just the parked cars that you will be missing. Unfortunately, SOL also had some coding changes that prevents some stuff from happening.

As usual ok, let me rephrase... If you Really, really really... Bla bla... Wanna have all the features, only coding will help.

i just installed the lates version of sol and then bttf over the top the maps all there and works fine just no parked cars or anything

and i think there arnt any peds or traffic in LC or SA

and none of the stuff in lc or sa works (pay n sprays and resterants etc

Cause they all are a part of the Main.scm, which you overwrited.

You're missing out on the cows mooing.

haha "attack of the cows" those r some huge cows lmao...they'd rip thru a delorean like tin foil

technically the delorean is tinfoil. really thick tinfoil but tinfoil none the less.

its all aluminium (or as you americans say, aluminum)

the delorean is stainless steel.....not aluminum.

I've corrected my friend once. Hehe... He asked why Marty couldn't just get out of the delorean and push it away, cause it's "light". He thought it was aluminum, but I disappointed him, because the doors were jammed and the car is made out of STEEL.
