Hey all.

Well the install of this mod worked like a treat but i dont know why but since installing this mod the graphics of my vice city have been playing up like the draw distance or something i have it set to almost full draw distance like only two empty bars remaining but still somethings areas on screen or little things will fade out and only become visible if im right in front or crash into them.

i know its not my graphics card coz previos versions of this mod and normal vice city ran 100% flawlessly.

i did the install of this version perfect after i did a fresh install of vice city so ne suggestions on how else to fix this coz its annoying me when i play it.

i guess it's that no loading screen mod. Well, easy fix is to get another install, copy maps.zon and the maps folder over to your bttf install

I had the exact same problem and I did what you said but it's still doing it, do you have any other suggestions? And the other updates were working fine for me until i installed this one so i don't know what's going on here.

I bet it's the graphics card. Integrated doesn't really cut it, expecially with the new models. I think the delorean doubled in poly count.

8600GY should have absolutely no problem of running the mod.

yep, you can. All the added cars are at the bottom. Essential ones are the rumpo, deluxo, sabre, zebra, infernus, banshee, rcbaron, bus, skimmer, and baggage.

Aug 5 2007, 7:35pm Anchor

vice city with this mod on wouldnt have ne trouble running on vista premium when i get it will it? coz when i get my new computer that will be my first time using vista and i know their are some compatability issues with some programs.

Aug 5 2007, 7:41pm Anchor

I have vista business, and as long as you run the setup program as an administrator it works fine. Also Delorean, did you include that no load mod in 0.2c? I haven't really paid attention to whether or not it loads since I upgraded, but now that I think about it I dont really remember seeing any load screens between the islands.

Aug 5 2007, 7:43pm Anchor

i just put all the manual install stuff in and its still doing it so im going to remove all the cars with the original cars from my back up copy and just have the essential stuff u mentioned coz specially on the way to get more plutonium from the lybians it does it coz that areas packed with the new modeled cars parts of roads dissapear and all.

Aug 5 2007, 7:44pm Anchor

So do i have to buy a new computer to get a new graphics card or what?

Aug 5 2007, 7:57pm Anchor

well if its intergrated like mine is then yes u r better of getting a new one coz ud have to replace a few things to get the new one if u even have space for a new one to be installed.

but if its not intergrated like mine then no u shouldnt have to, best check with ur local computer store or something or where u got ur computer from and ask them about if u can or not. theyd no whats best to do.

Aug 5 2007, 8:09pm Anchor

ok, thanks.

Aug 5 2007, 8:18pm Anchor

so can i take out the files related to the rumpo, deluxo, sabre, zebra, infernus, banshee, rcbaron, bus, skimmer, and baggage from the img i got now put em in a copy of my backup copy img which has nothing new added just original and then copy that img over to the mod.

Aug 5 2007, 8:45pm Anchor

yep, pretty much

Aug 5 2007, 8:45pm Anchor

oh damn, you need keycard.dff and dynkeycard.txd (err, forgot what exactly, but they both have keycard in the name) to get the license plate.

Aug 5 2007, 9:08pm Anchor

thanks lol thats probly why it crashed upon starting a new game and loading half way haha i got all the cars in thogh only the essential ones. ill do the keycard ones now though.

i have vista home premium on a much weaker computer than that and the mod still plays fine so u should have no problems

Aug 12 2007, 6:30pm Anchor

I got it working with only the essential cars needed and its reduced the problem quite a bit specially the lag i got if i went into an area that had all new cars in it.

Still does it a bit though just not as much as it did with all the newbies.

Aug 12 2007, 6:44pm Anchor

yep, new cars need a lot more resources, as they are more high res.
