Back to the Future: Hill Valley is a mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Back to the Future: Hill Valley will be based on the Back to the Future Trilogy, allowing the player to re-enact all the great moments from the films. While some parts of the story are stretched to make it more enjoyable, we are determined not to stray too far from the original story-line. The people behind this mod want the community to relive the movies and have as much fun in the process as possible. With the outstanding game play of the Sandbox hit, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, in combination with one of the best movies of all time, Back to the Future, this mod is sure to bring countless hours of fun to anybody who enjoyed the movies.

i know you are putting in Docs truck (the one that he put the DeLorean in) but my question is will it have the ability to lower and raise the back and put cars in the back? |

It was never introduced until SA, so no. We'll just cheat and include the delorean as an extra, but don't expect it to behaive right. After all, truck-trailer support wasn't added until SA either. |

yeah i know i kinda can get the car in the back nbut the wheels go through the walls and when i floor it the car trys to fall out but instead the van catches fire and explodes like it was geting damaged by the car in the back |

ermu could use a lorry... make it smaller and then to open it get in the truck and press something and then it turns into the smaller truck (the original isnt a truck) so u could drive it in and out but im unsure if u make it change like the delorean how would it stay? you can figure that one out if its a good idea (= |

Delorean88us, it could be done with a truck that has an object on it's back (through SCM coding), by coordinates (placing them minus something behind the truck) and moving the object (where the coordinates are), then to make it open or change position or rotation, but I'm not sure if that's possible but I remember so. But that might delay the script a lot because it has to be updated all the time, dunno |

if you recall the flying delorean in hover mode, dropping it on a vehicle would cause it to disappear, because it was teleporting to the same location as that vehicle and overwrote it. The hoverboard is like that too and thats why it is so far back. Putting a car within a truck by code would cause the truck to disappear |

could you just put a marker inside the truck? so that if you drove it in the truck model would change to one with the delorean in or the door closed? |

But what if it is a scene where it is droven into the truck, which is actually an object, deletes the object when fading out and creates the truck with the back closed? |

marker's won't work. Worked with fuel feature with the delorean. Even though the place where you fuel it is always behind the delorean, the marker stays in one position (the pink cylinder). More like spawning, but then there is a huge problem in actually driving the delorean out. Now that part isn't possible. I'm sure i can drive the delorean in, hit some button to delete the delorean and truck, and create a truck with delorean extra in it. But when it comes to taking it out, the whole car teleport erase thing kinda kills it. |

have a value 1 or 2 if its 1 delorean inside if its 2 there isnt and if there is and u press certain keys the animation for the delorean coming out starts??? |

animations only apply to peds, not objects. Fact still remains that spawning something in the truck will delete the truck itself. |

y don't u spawn it ouside of it, like screen goes dark then reappears with it out, that eliminates 2 problems, 1 getting the car out and 2 the erase problem |
