The Sound Mod replaces all War Thunder Ground Vehicles sounds that are perhaps lacking with something more Immersive

Post news Report RSS Historical Panther Engine sound

I think Gaijin has been messing about with the panthers engines as they haven't sound right to me lately. I thought its as good a excuse as any to get back to the sound mod as I haven't touched it for over a month

Im sure Gaijin has been adjusting the Panthers engine lately which has shifted some of the lower rpm sounds out of sync. basically i have adjusted some lower rpm and turned down the volume on the exhaust muffling while adding a small 10 sec loop of panther gear changes and revving.

While it would bee nice to have the gear changing sound match the actual ingame gear changes, There unfortunately is no such trigger for me to do so. Shame cos the shifting or the engines is 30%-40% of what makes the sound so unique. So i think its plausible for me to just add the sounds gear changes regardless of whether it actually changing gear anyway.

It shouldn't be to obnoxious and repetitive i hope, im aware of how annoying sound loops can be.

Think i will release this when the next patch comes.

Sorry, but this sound its not real Panther Sound...Look newer Vids of Original restored Panther.
But your Sound Files so much better then the War Thunder Sounds.

Any chance you could release that map for the public?
I'd love to test my tanks on that map... or just drive around for a while :)

I think that this Panther sound more distant to the real Panther Sound than the Vanilla Sound. Sounds very powerless and almost like the Porsche engine which was used for the Befehlswagen VI and the Elefant you wannabe smartass.
