A flight simulator that boasts combat like no other seen in Half-Life - in the air. It puts players in the hotseats of either a valiant Terran pilot or an insectile vicious XT larvae. - As a terran you get to upgrade your aircrafts globally, meaning everyone can use the aircrafts upgraded and research affects everyone. - XTs grow themselves and are their ships, meaning they have to evolve themselves constantly but are more agile in terms of mobility. In some maps there will be ground vehicles like tanks and jeeps to be used and will play vital roles in missions like troop/pilot transport and anti-air defence. Armada has it all and will be one of the most innovative mods of the century. -------------------------------------------------- --------------------- Sion is going to be coding it into a stand alone game for his university project. But however we wish to produce a mod first to give us a basis and the experience to press forward and produce this game.

OK. Well as promised I will be holding an Art compotition for the Armada Mod, This time it is for the installer, I am currently writing the installer in Visual Basic, the requirements for the compotition are a 364*724 image which Will be displayed on the welcome screen to the installer. Any format may be used preferably a .gif or .jpg with 0 transparency, opacity is up to you, rember to submit an alias you would like displayed in the credits. This compotition runs untill october 31st with the winner being declared Via news on ModDB on Nov 1st.
