You wake up in a Server Room with no clue who you are or how get in there. After a short time you meet with the voice of Freud, a neuroinformatician and former Aperture Scientist, who claim that he wants to help you. But another voice, Kant, warns you that Freud only wants to reactivate the mysterious Omega Project and that you have to find out more about it before you can help him. Additonally there is the AI Thanatos who wants to kill you and who is interested in the Omega Project, too. Who can you trust...

Aperture: The Omega Project Alpha 1 released!


Today I have released a Alpha Version of my Aperture: The Omega Project. Alpha means that it contains only 9 maps and these are not finished yet, so the only purpose of this download is to show the new game mechanics i have used. Also the maps are not really optimized, doesnt have music and the subtitles are only in German, but this will change in the final version (hopefully ;) ).

If you want to try it still and want to give me some feedback, here are the install instructions:

Install Instructions:

  1. Download the Alpha Version from the Download Section
  2. Extract the Aperture_TOP Folder out of the downloaded ZIP-File and place it under [Your Steam Folder]\steamapps\sourcemods
  3. Go into Steam. Click Steam > Exit and Restart Steam.
  4. Aperture: The Omega Project should appear under your Steam Games.

It should work on Windows, Mac OS and Linux, but I have tested it only on Windows. If you have tried it on another system then write in the comments please.

Also if you have some other critique, bugs, or improvements please write them in the comments.
