It may come as no surprise to the followers of this project -albeit at a slight disappointment- that I hereby announce that “Amnesia - Titanic’s Descent” is officially discontinued, or cancelled if you will.
Back when this project was announced I was simply too optimistic about my capabilities and available time to pursue my modding hobby within. This time has only decreased overtime as I grow older. Unfortunately after I’m done with the Titanic Mod for Mafia, I wish to move on from older games in order to explore my skills in more contemporary game engines. Besides, with the intent I had for this mod and the complexity involved, I may be better off making this as a standalone title íf I wish to continue it, rather than a mod for a -by then- very old game. That struggle of contemplating a standalone game due to an ever decreasing audience is a dilemma I've faced with the Mafia Titanic Mod, and rather not wish to repeat.
My apologies for those who were looking forward to this mod.
Just to clear out any confusion, this announcement is only related to “Amnesia - Titanic’s Descent”. The Titanic mod for Mafia is set to release within Q2 of this year.
