The SC:AT team has grown to 10 members, mostly programmers but 2 are modellers. I'd like to thank them all for taking the plunge.
I've worked out how to create multiplayer scenarios and created a "proof-of-concept" map. The team is now hacking away to make it playable and more interesting. Hope to release in 2-3 weeks.
I've tested the mod online. It works with some minor desync issues (related to my sloppy AI code). The important thing is it shows in lobby, displays objectives video and doesn't crash unless my buggy trigger is activated. I am confident that stable online play will be no problem.
I've actually been able to implement all of the mods current features in the map script file! What this means is that you may not even need to download a mod to play it! All you'll need is the map!
I've learnt a lot about the engine in the last few weeks. I have found nothing to stop the basic version and most of the advanced version from being implemented. Nothing will stop this mod from rocking your worlds.
We have a forum! Thanks to Nexus and the crew at supcomuniverse. This will allow the range of feedback, questions and criticism to reach all new levels!
