Abandoned Town is a cryengine1 map set in a city like Pripyat. Technically more a map than a mod, it is composed mainly of non-vanilla objects. City buildings, streets and ambience are all inspired by STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl. The city landscape has been created by moddb member Vikom, and is largely complete. I will be doing the completing, ie Mission.lua, radar points, triggers, screen text, save points etc., plus my own ideas and add-ons.

Back in October2017 I had this invitation from Vikom.

Four hours work, lol. I don't work that fast. But the mission objectives, game saves, radar points were all finished for November. And just before it was released, we began making additions, sending the file back and forth as we worked on it. Me doing the "slave work" mainly, filling out detail as Vikom created new areas and events.
It has been an awesome experience for me to work with a talented modder, I have learned such a lot. We both have study, exams, and now holiday season, but we still work on this every day and will finish as soon as possible.

In the park with the statue and all, i am being shot but there is noone around. I am sure that the bullets were coming through (or behind) the buildings, i saw it. If this is a bug, you should fix it. Other than that, i like this second Abandoned Town map.
The biggest (middle) level,Abandonedtown, is released today.
The three levels when the mod is completed are April; Abandonedtown; and Pool.
In level one, Jack fails to stop the Chernobyl NPP accident. He escapes the explosion hidden in a shipping container.
In level two, he exits his hiding place and emerges in Pripyat township.
In level three, he returns years later to the iconic Pripyat swimming pool.
I have been fiddling with level1 for long enough. I will continue to work on the three levels. However, level two is playable, finished a long time ago, and just sitting on my hard drive while I worked on the other two. So I am releasing the file for level two today, and big apology to all who have shown interest in this mod. Biggest apology is to Vikom, for the delay.

Just letting everyone know, AbandonedTown is back in development. I am working on the Pool level now, and there is a third level which is a bit of a secret at this time.
I hope your own mod Fifth Anniversary of Crymods is in good progress.
