A Criminal State will be a realistic fighting modification for half-life 2. The available gametypes will be 1on1 tournaments, 2on2 tournaments, and a Kill'em All. You will be able to choose between different warriors (each has his own style, special and finish moves) fight your oponent and throw, knock or kick him against mapobjects, walls or grounds. No weapons, just you and your style. No first or third person, the in-game view will be like a 3D movement fighting game. Documentation

I have finished the model of the fist map backyard. It still needs several mapobjects like a car and container. The players will respawn in the right place.

hl2 is brush based, so that is pretty useless
hl2 is not released, the only thing we can do is create concepts or renders of stuff what are based on our ideas.
Even if hl2 will releases we can start work (like mapping) imediately!
We want to do something NOW allready, so this is what we do.
thats not too great, as its just a bunch of squares (with substraction or editing of the polies, if its done in 3dsmax)
Well i thing its pretty pointless why not just draw it out and then scan it??? Better then using a modeling tool to make renders of maps
I cant get any feel of depth here, it looks like this will be very simple mod, if all ur doing is small square back yards???? U should have used hammer and designed it with everything in, and then maybe some of us would have been inpressed, and im still getting the emense feeling of smallness with these pictures.
