Actually i'm pretty sure using any content from Leaked HL2 is illegal.
No, no it's not. Email Valve about it by the way, since the beta got spewed on the internet by a leaks. Just because a leak existed for a long time doesn't make it ok to have.

I don't think valve will care, look at Black Mesa Source, they are completely taking the story from HL1 and Valve is pretty much a supporter.
