This is a Total Conversion mod for the upcoming game Star Wars: Empire at War from Petroglyph Studios. It is a Starship Troopers mod, but it is much differnt then your usual brand of SST. For the first time ever fight on the ground, in the air, or in the silence of space.
Choose your side: The Mobile Infantry, or the Arachnid Army.Each side has the old favorites, and of brand new units out there. This mod will take all you know about Starship Troopers and blow it out your nose.

Ok hairtrigger has set up a little competition for the mod so read carfully and feel free to join in.
Alright, I would like to announce a little competition.
It's a ship concept art competition.
No modeling skills required.
There will be four catagories both on the Federation side & Arachnid side.
Terran Ships: Arachnid Ships:
Capital Ship Hero Capital Ship Hero
Cruiser Hero Cruiser Hero
Gunship Gunship
Fighter/Interceptor Fighter/Interecptor
Pick one or more to do a concept of. The concept must have the following:
Front, Back, Side, & Top views. It must follow the design of either side. Meaning it has to be recognizable as a Starship Troopers/Arachnid ship. (this is the most important) And it MUST be an original!
All entries will be judged on their quality & originality while staying within the style of SST. The deadline is the 29th of February. Winners will be announced at the debut of our new website in March.
By entering this contest, you transfer all rights of the concept over to SST and no-one else. Meaning it can't pop up in anyone elses mod including your own.
Winning designers of the concepts will be beta testers for SST. If your ship is used, you become an honorary member.

SRY for double post but can't edit posts here. Is based off of the Verhoeven movie or more like the Heinlein book? I hope it is the book because I want that power armor!
SST is spread across the movie, book, and animated series. Some more than others, mainly because in the movie & animated series there were actual visual references. I've read the book many times, so don't worry, we'll include what we can.

you should defently think about makeing this to Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars too. much better graphic and cooler ^^
Since our 1st goal is the space side, it would be pointless to transfer to TW. The ground side will come later, and if we did swap to the sage engine, it would be KW or possibly even the RA3 sage. Ultimately that decision would rest solely with Panzer.

This mod is not dead! Things are moving slower than I anticipated. Panzer has had some delays due to college in getting the original model assets to me but that should be taken care of within the next couple of weeks. In other areas we are moving along as planned.

saw the intro, when you wrote mobile infantry or the Archinad army should say Swarm :P
wow the space battels looks awesome! but i dislike some of the humnas tanks and golaith or what you call them, but i am eager to play this mod :D starship troopers is my favorite movie :D
