The story begins with the uncertain situation in January 1944. With up to 11 subfactions (there are now 7 nations in total, and different generals in the same nation can have different units) and several new unit types, this MOD have much difference compared to the original game. You can use this MOD as you like except the commercial one. The author is 以及小酱油, a Chinese Moder.

New nation: People's Republic Of China (AKA China 50s).
Showing PLA from the mid-1950s, which was still using a large amount of outdated WWII weapons, many of which were captured Japanese (Ha-Go and Chi-Ha) and American (Mainly Stuart and Greyhound, but there are also at most 7 M4A2 Shermans with 37mm Guns*) equipment, while others were Lend-Leased or licensed Soviet ones and self-produced.
What about France?
French 4th Republic (AKA France 50s) will not be released in this version, for I really don't have enough time to finish such work. The weapons used by Forces armées françaises in 50S were also diverse: leftover materials from the Third Republic and Vichy France, seized German weapons, Lend-Leased Anglo-US equipment, and self-developed products.
WHY 50S?
The answer is quite simple: a completed tech tree is needed to make a nation worth to play. Actually, as Participants of WWII, both China and France don't have such thing in 1944, but by the 1950s, both nations got what's needed to fulfill the tree, and most of them are WWII standard.
*It's said that these Shermans were once used by 1st tank battalion of 1st Marine Division. Before going home, they removed all of their armaments and abandoned them. Then, nationalists took over and fitted unknown 37mm guns on them, but eventually they were captured by communists. One of the Sherman is now located in Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, Beijing, but the gun of tank is still missing. For more details, see (in Chinese) Bilibili.com

New unit limits: Heavy Tank & Special Forces
Heavy Tank limits is designed to prevent that players and bots only use heavy tanks instead of large-produced medium tanks, it depends on the number of Armor HQ that you owned. Works on Heavy Tanks, Heavy AGs, Heavy TDs, Heavy SPGs, Heavy SPAAGs, Super Heavy Tanks, Super Heavy AGs and Super Heavy TDs.
Special Forces limits is designed for the similar reason, and this depends on the number of infantry, motorized, armor HQs you have. It can also be purchased by 10$ each. Works on all special forces like SAS, Assault Infantry, Sniper, Flamethrowers, etc.
New regimental formations & ammo trucks & new upkeep rules for regimental units
The number of units in each regiment is reduced, especially armored units - only 3 tanks in regular tank regiment, and tank CO usually the same vehicle (with the same HP and using the same gun) as other tanks in the regiment. The HP pool, morale and DPM of most regiment remain unchanged.
A vulnerable ammo truck is added into most of artillery regiments (except airborne artillery), without which will decrease the ROF of artillery in this regiment. (Supported by 奈叶酱 from QQ Group)
Now the consumption of a regiment depends on the sum of the consumption of all units in the regiment. Once the unit is destroyed, it no longer consumes any resources, reducing the financial burden of players.
New ammo tech
Ammo upgrade techs added, works on many cannons and howitzers in game. This will reduce the ability to damage some units while increasing the ability to damage other units (mainly tanks), the reduction rate is equivalent to the increase rate.
Optional aircraft payload (Supported by 奈叶酱 from QQ Group)
Now players can choose different payload modes for aircraft for different missions by upgrading airfield (particularly attackers). You must aware that the upgrade is irreversible, and it only works until airfield's HP is fully restored.
