Thanks for the answer.
Is this compatible with or already incorporates Wesp's unofficial patch?
Any tips to counter performance hits on a Windows 7 system? (It seems DirectDraw compatibility related).
You have to download the missions separately. Check this link:
I would advise you to take a look at the wiki like some missions are in a campaign but they may not all be done (if you are like me and prefer to play one campaign at a time) or perhaps if there's a mission that has yet to get v2.0 approval due to bugs or incompatible version.
Vertical Sync was working before I tried to turn it off (testing purposes) and now I can't turn it on again.
I have an Nvidia card (GTX470) and forced it on through control panels along with applying the game executable with D3Doverrider but it doesn't help. Any suggestions? It's weird that it worked before and then stopped.
Is this mod stable and is it compatible with ZRP?
Is this compatible with Zone Reclamation Project? Or does it already have it?
Which CK2 version is most stable with this mod version 0.5.1?
Can someone explain why this game freezes if you press esc? It's really weird, it looks like a pause a function because music continues.
I doubt that, I don't have that bad performance that it could be possible as I don't have a modern mothercard enough that my onboard graphics card would simply crash the game. I've played a few other Unity engines and while it's not the most optimized engine out there for my computer this particular game has unusually low performance and a few crashes.
It's not too long until 1.1 is released? I finished SOC for the first time with Complete mod about a month ago so I'm in no hurry, I can wait. :)
Any news about 1.1? I found the 0.9 and tried it but I gave up due to its heavy RAM requirement (I've 4GB and 64-bit but the client sucked up 1.4GB and that was only the beginning with lower settings than what I wanted).
Any closer to release?
Any release date yet?
Hey, does anyone know if they're planning on some huge patches soon? I got intrigued to play this again after seeing this patch but I won't be playing just yet so waiting another month or two won't be an issue.
I stumbled upon issue. First, I can't seem to find the key to Jezebel Locke's room and after googling there was some issue with it prior to unofficial patch 6.0 but this mod contains 7.9 right? Anyway, could someone point exactly where it is in case I just missed it.
Anyway, when I'm heading to her room now (after trying to use the cheat function via console to get that item) the game freezes in a random dialogue (I think it's with my companion) when I reach floor 5. What am I suppose to do? This is with 3.0.1 and VTMB bought from DotEmu.
What is it that people lack when they can't get it to work? Reinstall DirectX doesn't help and with the latest updates with Windows 7 at least you have Net framework integrated. I downloaded one of microsofts verifications tools specifically for NET framework and I had them all.
Anyone that has got this mod working with Windows 7 64-bit and modern hardware? (Just trying to find out where the issue lies).

But... when I run the shortcut, It said "2027.exe stop working"
Win7 x64 professional edition & Deus ex GOTY steam edition
Did you solve your issues or?
OuchofDeath@ How did you use Kenties launcher for 2027? It it can only start deus ex for me.
I run MSI After Burner. I turned it off but it didn't help.
No laptop. Normal desktop with Win7 64-bit.
"Log: DeusExLevelInfo object missing! Unable to bind Conversations!"
This arrives as the only negative line in my log file when I don't get the error. How can that be missing?
I added "D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice" to the render device and now the game starts for about 2 seconds before the "stops responding.." message arrives. However, the resolution is my desktop ones which mean it seems to start the mod, that didn't happen before. When I checked windows event viewer for the error it seems to be an issue with the 2027.exe and core.dll in /System folder.
Ah, I think I found the issue. The 2027 mods tries to play the game (just after install, no changing files) by using Direct3D9, that's why I get the general protection fault. If I try OpenGL I get "no responding."
EDIT: Ok, what is the line to put at renderdevice if I want to use "Direct3D" specifically and not "Direct3D9" because that one works with the original but I haven't tried it with 2027, only OpenGL that you just gave me and Direct3D9 that the mod wants to use as default.
Strange though, OpenGL and Direct3D (not 9) works with the original game.
I did all the steps but everytime I try to start it says 2027.exe stop responding. :/
Ded, I just boot into safe mode, reinstalled DirectX without issues, restarted and tried again. I still get that damn error. I did some searches and somehow it seems to be connected to the direct sound when it comes to Deus Ex as a game but since the original is working I don't know what to do. Here's my DxDiag which do seem to indicate no issues: Speedyshare.com
I actually tried that yesterday but apperantly I received an error at the end of the installation.
I didn't know there was a log file but here you go. :)
Is it suppose to be a lot of .eng and .rus files in the system folder? (not 2027/system).
