Well thats okay if you can d/load the flash fx 1,8. bad luck if you cant. any suggestions?

hoping someone can help me here.
I d/loaded and the game seems to have installed okay except that I cant start a new game. Maybe I should load a map or if there is a better fix ...?

Okay you zombies,
I just wanted to give you my Paranoia saga......
After I took buzzer's advice and got HL v1.1.1.2 final exe which by the way is a good idea.
I have still had problems with the map loading but it has been much better.Getting the console up helps with detecting problems.I had a TRACKERUI.dll problem and that showed up in the console.
I am now scared shitless in the lower bunker.

Hi all, thanks Buzzer for info.
For some reason, nothing happened when I added -console to the end of the string.
I looked and looked and found in the config.cfg folder in Paranoia the console 0.00000 (about a 1/3 of the way down) and set it to 1.000.
Now the console worked and I could load he map.
Now I was very happy, playing again la,la and when i had to go down the stairs to the basement it crashed again.
So now I will load the next map (funny way to play the game!).
I would like to ask anyone what I can try changing as when I get the crash I get a "hl has encountered a problem...and has to close" ...blah blah and the info I get when I click for more info is its a bloody XML dump which is a multiplayer thing isn't it?
Anyway i find it interesting.

Now I'm going to ask a probably stupid question...
How to load the console because the game boots from MS-DOS.Apparently in Half- Life you r/click the hl. exe and you add -console to the launch target.But is it different in Paranoia. In other words, how do I get there?

Hi everyone.
I downloadeded v1.2 of Paranoia and was playing along the training section la,la, no problems and it crashed after the meeting in the beginning.
I was really enjoying the mod (thanks to Buzzer for all his work) and when this happened I was unusually upset.
So, I have searched my little butt off trying to find out what was wrong.I read all 143 pages of comments here and looked at the website, but I cant understand the Russian forum.
I only found one or two references to it and people replied it was the mp3 volume but that doesnt seem to fix it.
Can anyone give me a clue, please .Even how to maybe load the next map from the meeting from the console.
