Very true I see M wittmann avatars everywhere. That's really interesting I didn't knw that. I will definatelly look into that. I had recently read Otto Carius' book, "Tigers in the Mud". Really great book on his personal experience fighting on the Eastern Front. Have you heard of it? I definatelly reccomend it. Its a good Tanker book and life story.
Greetings to Deutschland!
I try to find one and read it thx, i know that Carius was one of the Tiger aces of WH and at wars end he was commander of sPzJg abt.,in Ruhrkessel ,with Jagdtiger and he tried to train unexperienced young Tankers for better Pz Jäger tactics , dont know whether the unit surrender in Iserlohn ( with JgdTiger) is Carius unit or a sister unit
u wirte "disregard previous comment" why?
sorry I went on ur profile and thought it was your birthday from a comment someone wrote to you. Turns out the comment was from June 5th...sorry about the confusion
np :)
nice Photo, looks like Max Wünsche from HJ Div.
thanks Sturminfantrist! and yes it is, I found it out later. Initially I was looking for a cool Michael Wittmann photo, but found this one
Max Wünsche is good i like that Italian camo Pattern on his Uniform , we have enough Michael Wittmann avatars around , but there are nice Photos from M. Wittmanns Gunner Balthasar "Bobby" Woll he was a real Specialist and one of the causes of Wittmanns success, shortly before Michael wittmann was killed Bobby was promoted as a Tank Commander and recieved its own TIGER1 tank he survived the war.
Greetings to Canada
Very true, there is alot of M Wittmann avatars. I did not know that, that is really interesting! I will look more into it. It was either i was going with Max Wünsche or Otto Carius (I read his book "Tigers in the Mud" recently, amazing book I recommend yo give it a read)
