See the troop tree of your faction in camp menu
Send me your save_game via pm and I will check it because what you said doesn't happen usually
Probably as king, you left some lords with no fief and that brings periodical negative relation with those lords. Also if you declared war without casus belli it brings bad relation hit for several days
I am working on scenes guys. Next update will have a real renaissance feeling..
Send me a pm, telling wich armour you are interested in and which mod you are workin on.
Without module system I don’t think you can manage it
Next will be a stand alone
Not true, they do exist in that period!
The fact nobody has ever made a mod about this period in Italy made me start doing something for myself... yes Borgias series influenced too.
Then, as it was growing too big to take just for myself, I decided to share it with the people
These options are part of Diplomacy, which is not implemented in this mod.
You may still raid a neutral village or attack villagers or caravans to make a neutral faction gain a casus belli against your faction
No, Batman. These cathedrals (there will be more to come) are just to watch form the outside. They will help giving the period atmosphere but I am definitely not willing to spend hours and hours to make nice interior scenes just to be watched once (because not really related to playing the game). And they would also make much heavier the mod to run uselessly.
Anyway I am doing new cities' scenes and sieges' scenes that I hope you will find interesting since you are studying that preiod :)
Thanks, I will give a look at it
At least 2-3 months
I have posted a video about new scenes and a new siege scene in Firenze which will be in the next release.
The idea is to make unique scenes at least for Venezia, Roma and Milano too.
I am thinking about changing the siege scenes for most of the towns in the already released version with a new one, something similar to what you see in the video.
Whould you people prefer this compared to the ladder one? (defending is more difficult this way when the battle is played)
no just single player
tell me which armour (with a picture or telling which unit wears it)
It will be in the next release
no more faction, sorry
I have no idea about that
As I started working on scenes, I realisìzed there are some weird fires in some castle scene (I wasn't testing the mod with particle option on before and so I couldn't see them).
Obviously I corrected these bugs
The main church of Florence, completed in 1436, it was the biggest church in the world at that time, with the dome engineered by Filippo Brunelleschi
I believe that the balance between realism and having fun in playing the game is quite good like it is now.
If you play a long campaign as an adventurer, you will notice that it is not that easy once you become king, to grow the number of vassals (personally I never use companions as vassals) and the if the speed of growing troops' level were slower, you will find the game to become quite frustrating. Anyway as you stated, that is related to personal taste.
I posted 3 new pictures...it will be part of new scenes for one particoular city.
Now a test for Renaissance players:
What is that church?
In wich city?
What about the dome?
Hey man, couldn't you tell me 1 minute earlier?
I have uploaded the Bug-Fix:
Bug-Fix for Patch 1.1
NOT SAVE GAME COMPATIBLE (unfortunately it changes too much to properly work on previous saves)
Fixed ai garrison bug (now ai garrisons grow properly)
Fixed landsknecht armours bug
Fixed proficiency in all troops and the displaying in troop tree's screen
Pikes can be used just by thrust
Fixed overall ai actions in campaign making possible faraway expeditions, islands are not insulated anymore (for example you could see huge Spanish fleet going to siege Marsiglia)
Spain and France start the game at peace
Changed some Spanish troops' equipment
If player is a Ruler, he has a +100 size troops bonus (and morale bonus according to it)
Added voice orders in French (you can find the french sounds.txt it in the Voice_orders_to_change folder)
Honor gained with infested village increased
Some faction balancing
Other minor things
I gave 10 points base more to the player and a 100 points bonus if you are king in the bug-fix, plus 30 point for each castle already in the game.
I suggest not to change very much these values because also morale and food consumption must be balanced with the changes.
Anyway in tweakmb you should be able to find the option how to increase your party size
There are many bandits around for the map, their concentration depend on the place.
In anycase you could enlist in a lord army and you will notice how prifitable are loots in this mod
