That is possible, China, Russia and India as an alliance against the west is a common theory of what WW3 would be like. India would be in a good position to aid both China and the MEC without risking an invasion of their own lands. But they are not on good terms with Pakistan, who would likely be allied with the MEC even though Pakistan isn't geographically in the Middle East...

The story is basically the near future with all potential conflicts going off creating World War 3. On one side there's the USA, western Europe, Japan, Israel, S. Korea, India and the African Union. On the other side is the MEC, China, Russia, North Korea, Cuba and maybe some insurgent factions as well. The teathres will be East Asia: China / N. Korea vs Japan / S. Korea. The Middle East/ North Africa: The AU/ US/ UK/ Israel vs MEC and some Russian involvement. In the Mexican Gulf the US will be fighting Cuba. Those theatres will be in the initial release. But there's two potential ones, The tibetian mountains with India vs China, and Eastern Europe with EU vs Russia. However I feel there's an overweight of factions on the "Allies" side.

The Japanese will mostly use M-16 rifles and the HK53/M4, maybe the MP5- it is all subject to change as I don't have much info on the Japanese army.

Yeah I know. But modelling takes a lot of time to learn, and it's hard to hire people as the bf2 modding community is smaller nowdays. The people with the necessary skills are busy with their own projects.

This looks jolly interesting. Russia vs USA does make sense to me. It's "established" in the BF2 universe that Russia is fighting the UK and EU, who are allied with America. Even though this mod is set in another one I still think it's a reasonable scenario. The maps look great, so does the other new content like the weapons. I am currently working on a mod of my own adding a dozen new factions including Russia, UK and North Korea. I was even thinking of the same mod name before I saw this page. But your work looks much more impressive, as you add new models and maps instead of just reskinning and messing with text files. Good luck guy(s)?.

Those russian weapons look awesome. I gotta learn how to make models, In every mod I make the Russians use MEC weapons outdated by two decades. Good luck with the mod.
