UPDATE ON SHIELDLESS LEGIONS

So I just played a Sea Battle and EVERYONE had their shields out. I don't know if that'll help you at all. But just letting you know!

Hm. What dictates renown? I am changing reputation but nothing I have done thus-far has altered my renown.

Is it an error that the leadership perk only gives one extra command slot? Am I missing something? It's going to take ages to build a decent sized force xD

Does anyone have any tips for keeping troop morale up? I use the mead from taverns and rest all the time, but barely can keep morale from being so low that people desert.

Another problem I'm seeing is this little choke-point in the alps keeps snagging armies and they sit there and run in place for days. Also, I'm not able to enter the W. Frontier Fort. Here is the location in which I'm talking about Steamcommunity.com

My pleasure man. As far as I can tell it is only the legionaries. My auxiliary units (Cav, archers, etc...) all use the shields. Only the legionnaire infantry don't use it.

Hey man! So in my 1.0 game, none of my legionnaires have shields. They only carry the gladius. Any idea what may be causing this?
