Most recently i found my copy of Half-Life... Guess what? some @$$0 uses my CD-Key in Steam! I was hoping to play BrainBread again, the mod where it's just you, your comrades and dozends upon dozens of sheer stupid zombies that are bigger than you but can't attack you if you stand at their height.

Because my CD-Key has been stolen i played various zombie mods based on the source engine including Zombie Master and Zombie Panic: Source. Although i like Zombie Master a lot more than Zombie Panic i got hooked on ZP too. BTW i hate the stupid weight and inventory system it makes stuff just more complicated and doesn't necessarily give zombies an edge over the humans. When i saw BrainBread: Source in HL Portal (a german HL1 and Source mod website) there was hope and in november i thought i would die. BrainBread: Source got cancelled and my journey for a worthy successor continued.

A mod called Situation Outbreak (formerly known as ZombieMod:Source) attracted my attention recently but there are a few problem:

1. the RPG system isn't good developed. Leveling up will merely give you more health but in BrainBread you get Skill Points which you can spend on speed, skill and health

2. there are not as many weapons as in BrainBread. In BrainBread you get a ton of weaponry to dispose of the undead. This is not the case with SO.

3. the zombies are "too intelligent". Compared to the SO zombies are the BrainBread zombies dumber than well... bread. the Situation Outbreak zombies come in more varieties, can jump on obstacles and run so you really can't enjoy kicking zombie ass to 100%

Oh yeah... I don't really feel like buying HL again. The same happened with Opposing Force and Blue Shift. Whoever makes Steam Keygens should beat themselves with a billy club for every CD key that got generated... And there are a LOT of 'em.
