yeah, i guess you right,
the only suggestion ive got is making an animation of the pelican taking you to the back of the scarab after you disable its shields...

I think you should make the scarab shielded
and after you taking out the shield,grab a flying vehicle and fly to scarabs back and enter the control room of it and kill all the pilots(just like in H2).

Nice,too bad the scarab isn't destructible.. or it is? :D
By the way, Is this a30 map? I was planning to add scarab fight too in my campaign...
