If you are using one of the latest Visual Studio for compiling, i believe you can just target linux in project settings. I wish i could say more, but i never tried to make mod myself. I am just assuming that this is how others do linux compilation of hl.dll. Since Visual Studio 2015 you can target linux.

For some reason, this mod is broken for me. If i understand correctly, vortigaunts must join you to fight against alien grunts, but for some reason they attack me just like they are my enemies. After looking in "dlls" directory, i realized, that this is due to the mod being for Windows only.
Can we get a linux version please? This is impossible to play on linux now, because Valve have ported HL1 long time ago and it works by using hl.so (in other words -- hl.dll compiled for linux). For now i can't finish this mod without cheating. Also neither training room nor actual game never dropped me to the main menu -- i think it should, imho.

Is there any chance to get linux adapted version?
