Will there be armed scientists (scientists with weapons)? IIRC Absolute Zero lets scientists punch enemies who get too close.

Hey, it’s me, this mods creator. It’s kind of hard to believe, but it’s been 2 years since this mod has received any updates. I don’t know if anyone will read this, but if you are, i want you to know that I’ve decided to remake this mod under a new name, Matt’s Neighbor: Revised. This will feature custom player and neighbor houses, the new art style (as attempts to implement the old art style have failed), hopefully a new story, and just generally improving the parts of the original mod that were rather lesser in quality.

Well, this is the Source engine. Obviously the atmosphere is gonna be different. It has advanced lighting, proper physics (hopefully), and all the other improvements of the Source engine. Think about it, some gamers like me love a new atmosphere. It provides some sort of differentiation from the atmosphere we all know and love. Most gamers like something fresh and new. Just because something has a different atmosphere doesn’t mean it’s bad. Take the Cinematic Mod for example. It provided a different atmosphere from the original Half-Life 2. People hated it, however, because of the different atmosphere (there was also... those models... but that’s not the point of this), but that’s the whole point of a mod, or sometimes even a port or remake, to give a new atmosphere, create something fresh and new. Remember, just because something has a different atmosphere than it’s predecessor, doesn’t mean it’s bad. Your comment, at least to me, feels like one of those, “They changed it! Now it’s bad!” kind of comments. Sorry if that offended you. Good day.

No, I’ve seen this guys mods for a while now, and I like the idea of porting Goldsrc mods to Source, the reason being that there are some people who don’t have the original Half-Life, and instead have Half-Life: Source, who want to play Goldsrc mods. Plus, there’s people like me who have both the Goldsrc and Source versions of Half-Life, and want to see what the mods would look like if they were on Source.

Hello. I have an issue with this mod, I can only use the running animations. When I tried replacing everything the mod replaces (I made backups!). There was no animations, and when I put everything back to normal, the original mesh doesn’t play any animations. How do I fix this?

No, I have cancelled the mod, I'm working on a new mod called Hello My Weird Neighbor. But don't worry, I might make an update to it, and that update will be Act 1.
