Umm.. Like ALL halo mods.. If the players don't have the mod innstalled at the same time as the host you will get glitches, if u name the game "Battle Base Mod" people will know its modded, install the mod and come join.. THEN they will see the same thing as you

first of all if it says "unknown version" it means its not the original .map file, like u havn't unistalled or removed the last mod u put on properly

second, the banshee should be there unless ur using a custom game type that doesn't include the banshee

and third, if u want to make mods like this google "halo mod utilities" and tutorials and u'll be fine :)

its not really a glitch, its just that coz certain things have been modded that prevents people without the mod from joining. They also have to have the mod installed to be able to join.

I decided to add the location of the sniper base to another site so the people who want to know can just click the link and find out. This is mainly because i realise that i don't check my emails everyday and find it hard to continously reply :P but thanks to the people who have had the patience to wait for my reply.

ANYWAY HERE IS THE LINK TO THE LOCATION OF THE BATTLE BASE MOD SNIPING BASE. As well as another place to download my mods:

No, no mods i have seen so far can be used in conjunction with other mods. And in saying that no other mod can be installed or the installer wont work.

O.K. the mod asks for the halo directory:

* If you installed Halo Trial in its default folder (didn't change the location, just installed it) then you just need to delete the '' bit from the directory so your just left with 'c:\program files\microsoft games\halo trial\maps\' (i should have left the '' bit out, it confuses to many people...)

* If the directory isn't the default then you need to click the button with the three dots '...' and select you MAPS folder in the 'Halo Trial' folder.

If an error comes up while installing then make sure; Halo is closed while you are installing, and that you don't have ANY other mods installed. ok hope that helps :P

ok, u goto the cave that has the flamethrower, then standing on the side of the flamethrower, looking at the opposite wall is a corner that has some moss. Run into the corner of the wall and u'll be teleported to the top 'sniping' base. Have Fun!

I deleted the download from moddb because it had an error in the zip file, a good version can be downloaded from my homepage (a link is under details on the right hand side of the page). i will post Battle Base mod on moddb when i get a bit more time.

Any mod only works for the computer that has the mod installed. other players will need to install it also. Only things that work for all players is when somthin other than the map files are changed for example the custom gametypes on my homepage.

First of all, can you host with people joining without the mod? because if you cant its because you havn't portforwarded your router to allow people to get to your computers halo port. if that is the problem go to www.portforward.com also if you join someones server on the net, the host has to have the mod installed for it to work. if this doesn't help leave another post, sorry i didn't reply any quicker
