i assume its detecting a trojan when trying to auto update?
that's what happened to me. but if i just click no to updates and just don't update its fine. it only happens when trying to update to the latest version.
its probably a false positive, but if your worried about it just don't update it. click no when it tries to update. you can just stay on the old version. its fine.
when i launch the updated version(1.0.0.7), part of it is cut off, the old installer version is fine tho.

i found a fix. right click the exe goto properties > compatibility > Change high dpi settings and enable override high dpi and set to application, apply and it should fix it.
also windows defender detects the auto updater as a trojan.
