I'm a 13 year veteran in the "Non-Game Programming Field" having built and organized a bunch of Internet and Intranet system, mainly web based. I've dreamed about being in the gaming industry for a lot longer, but it was never practical.
Now that I'm a full-time consultant on the business side of software, I want to start working on my game side of software, particularly by stretching myself into creative and design style roles. I'm not just a coder, I would almost rather do the art, writing and design as well.
I'm also a born organizer, you have to be to run your own gig, and am passionate about agile design and process - something that most informal teams lack and some place I have a lot of experience to share.
Right now, I want to work on ANY mod for ANY game, just to get some real world experience. I don't care if it ever "ships" or if its just goofing around, but I want to do some real work instead of just dreaming about it.
Pick me. Pick me.
