yeah, you got most of them right actually, though they arnt so much references, they just used to be the irl countries before i made the new world/countries

EDEN and Meridian are correct
Hyperion used to be a Asian Alliance, VEGA has always been its own thing (though the HQ was originally in japan)

The soviets are correct except for Farbanti, which used to be called "Arab Union" (though now they are loosely based on Europe as a whole)

Main reason i changed them was to both give my self more freedom with world building, and to also avoid copying/having the same sub-factions as other mods - mainly Mental Omega

All factions are near future, the soviets and yuri buildings will be updated to reflect this

Other YR mods have similar units/buildings
It doesn't have the MCV building capability (like TW cranes) if thats what your thinking, it just allows you make a new base elsewhere cheaper than building a new MCV (basically RA3 sputnik/prospector)

The Grand Cannon and Patriot SAM will definelty be remade, but i dont plan on changing the pillbox or prism tower really
The G.A.P generator might also get redone

10 factions, 4 for the Allied, 4 for the Soviets, and 2 for Yuri's army (name will probaly be changed)
All factions have a Hero/Commando unit, but only half have an Epic unit

Yeah, they are a somewhat independent group, not a standard nations government, rather a large military force that are the de-facto leaders of several neighbouring nations, who have aligned with the Soviets. They also produce a lot of the Soviet's weaponry

They're named the Black Hand since they mostly use fire-based weapons, it works as a reference to Nod from TW

Changed a continent name, didn't like the old one

Updated all Soviet flags with better Hammer and Sickle

it is, Shangri-La's main weapon tech is Cryo
