Ha, glad to see my custom zhlt.wad is of use to people. :)
Thanks, I still refer to these tutorials. :)
Cool, was about to start playing this, glad to see a patch!
Yep, looking awesome.
Nice to see the retexture! :)
A quality map like this requires a non-default skybox. :)
Looking great! Glad to see this is still alive. :)
Of all the things in this shot, I like the BM monitor texture the best for some reason. :)
- nice tutorial
- tutorial should probably be under HL or Goldsource, instead of Op4
- you don't explain the point of the grey texture or why you need it
- also you should show where to create the map_detail.txt file and where the tga files are typically placed
- Also aren't the detail textures themselves usually grayscale? Or is yours full color?
Always appreciate map source releases. Are these free to use, as long as credit is given? Similar to your HC2 map sources?
Nice, look forward to it.
Indeed, my title text mostly covered that one.
Yep, the button calls the elevator back down.
Yes 3 new maps, to give the player an introduction to SCRAM in case they don't read ModDB. :)
This is one of the new SCRAM training maps.
Looking great. Hand made?
It should work on WON but I personally have not tested it yet. The goal is to make sure it works on both Steam & WON.
Simply showing one of the difficult lambda nuclei (black) to reach.
Loving your sky boxes.
Thanks. You can't expect much of a reward for such a simple challenge, right? :)
Indeed they do get harder. There are 3 in every map which sometimes limits where they can be placed.
The place to go is twhl.info. Still an active HL1 community there.
Thanks! I miss the old Ten Four days, but now with Phillip gone too at least for now, we Goldsource lovers really need to stick together.
I may ask for your help in a little while on a Half-Life mod I'm working on. :)
Love seeing gorgeous Goldsource maps. This is definitely one.
Just heard this, nice and atmospheric.
Great dev video. Can you describe how you took those shots - that is, getting the identical location & angle for each map version?
Well if you do have Opposing Force installed, you can extract opfor.wad from the gcf file, and copy it to the alphaunit folder and it should work fine.
When running the exe to extract files, everything but opfor.wad extracts OK and I get this error:
Le CRC a échoué dans alphaunit\OPFOR.WAD.
I have downloaded twice so it's not a download problem.
This was made for Project: Quantum Leap. Here it's just made into a standalone pack.
