I know I am late, but a few words though. I am not too deep into modding and have no idea abaout modding TW games. But I know there are many problems showing up with such a big project, even if there are proper modding tools available. Most of us know the Third Age mod which is not running stable to that very day. Considering M2TW is often called the easiest to mod TW game...
So this is how I would go further: I heard some dev from CA say some time ago, their Warscape engine is reaching its limits, so they probably have to reinvent their stuff in the near future, and they are "proud" of their modding scene. So hope is still left that their next or after next historical setting game will be built more mod friendly. Maybe we have to wait some more... In the mean time the team can take themselves enough time to prepare the sources. And I also have to add, that the guys at Kingdoms Of Arda seem to do a nice job too. I think if You would team up with them there could be the most amazing Bannerlord mod rising (in the east^^). This could be a proper substitude for the time till we get our long awaited TWROM.
