That's not true, the 100p server is regularily full every evening European time.
Probably yes, but maybe not on all maps. Bot support is usually the last thing added to a finished map, so if a map is finished late in development, there might not be enough time to equip it for singleplayer in time for the release.
If that is the case, we will of course release them in a patch at a later date, like we did with Omaha Beach.
Most new maps dont have commander radio anymore since the feature doesn't fit on most maps.
You can't get 3rd person view on tanks.
Problem is, we don't have the voices, so all we could add would be the flag.
Omaha beach is very hard on performance because of so many bots shooting and dieing in the same area. without a better computer you will probably not be able to play it smoothly.
Krätzer likes skinning.
Just create an account in the launcher...
Download the FH2 Launcher and use it to install. It will automatically installe the latest version (2.47)
There is no map to put it on.
You need be squad leader or commander to use that.
This will be done automatically.
The "real" Omaha Beach? The FH2 version is about as real as it gets, it is a 1:1 copy of the real life terrain around Vierville Sur Mer, with every single bunker, trench system and house in the area. The terrain elevations are directly imported from google earth. Feel free to check it out.
I think that is only the case in singleplayer though, for dicking around. In multiplayer the classes are historically correct.
That "DDay in 3d" link you posted is pure bollocks. Go on Google Earth and look at the beach in front of vierville sur mer. You will see that every bunker is exactly where it was in real life, the cliff is the right height and the street cuts through the road.
It will be added in a minipatch through the launcher.
Gold Beach has bots right off the bat, Omaha will be patched in later through the launcher.
That is not possible, since the file structure between 2.45 and 2.46 was changed drastically to allow for incremental patches through the launcher. Any patch would be almost as big as the full release.
The password for the downloaded files will be released tomorrow. That way everybody can unpack and install it at the same time and join the server, without crashing the download sites.
Eastern front is still in development and will be patched in via the new launcher at a later date.
Next stop: Eastern Front
The ZF41 scope in reality had a zoom of 1,5x. It basically worked like a red dot sight today, just without lasers. For this reason it was shunned by actual snipers who prefered the 4x or 6x Zeiss scopes.
The website and forum are up, so if you can't access them the problem is on your end.
But the everyone would bunny hop.
AT guns have two positions, one to move the gun and one to aim.
The Johnson mg in the first FH1 was unhistorical. It was only used by US paramarines and the Canadian-US First Special Service Force, which fought in Italy.
1.5 is not fake, it's an official BF2 patch. Make sure you have 1.41 installed first.
