Independent game making is my life. Can't live without it.
Nice post. I was actually having trouble with my game yesterday as I was lost on what to do next. It wasn't until the end of the day when I realized I need more planning, and that is what I will do today, so this post really spoke to me.
So when's the part where you get the dragon horse and team up with the monkey king going to happen?
Interesting project. A realistic fighting game is something not many people dabble on so I'll look forward on how this turns out.
EDIT: Oh wait, it's already out. Alright then. But I want to play it on Steam so I guess I'll wait till its greenlit.
Thank you for the compliment. The aim of the game is to replicate the old school fighting games of the 90s so its going to be at its basic.
I had a feeling that would happen. That is why I happen to have the exe version available on the Download section.
When did he say that?
It's the mascot.
TCG indie game? Now there's something you don't see everyday.
Tracking. I'm looking forward to all the different cards you have to offer.
I voted for it. Now you owe me for me life.
Keywords being "some" and "yesterday".
Very nice. Hong Kong streets are such classic environments for these kind of situations.
I voted on Steam. There is no such thing as bad publicity.
Does this engine really have no coding on it? At all? I actually prefer to code things rather than use drag and drop and preset properties.
Okay...Uh...if it's alright with you, I'm going to assume she's 12.
Very nice looking game. I have a question: how old is the heroine? I can't tell.
Uhh...how exactly is this a game?
Thanks for making this vid. I'm currently trying to improve my art skills and this video was a nice motivator. Looks like my method is pretty much the same as the artist so perhaps I'm not too far from perfecting my skills.
I like games where you can play as a kid in a more serious matter. I'll def keep an eye on this project.
Sounds good but where is the link? This is like the 3rd project who has a Kickstarter but never puts the link on the description. You'd think that would be the most important part of making the post.
"so go ahead and show support by funding this great game!"
Giving us the link would help.
This game looks awesome. Spectacular work on the physics. I'll be keeping on eye on this game for sure.
Now this sounds like a unique game. I'll be following this game for sure.
I'm new to this site but have been an indie developer for years. However, right now I'm trying to make it in the world of indie game development and I had my doubts if I should start a kickstarter for my project. Doubts were in the air in that I felt that unless you had a big name or were someone famous enough, I would never get funded.
I saw your blog post on the front page and I was amazed that not only you got funded a few days in, but you reached a stretch goal. I didn't thought a mere indie developer could get such support. This has inspired me! I feel like I too can make it in the world of Indie game making.
Thanks for the inspiration and I wish you all the best in your game making endeavors.
