My name is Daniel, but everyone I know just calls me Dan, or "Dan the man." I'm a very active person, although I do spend a few hours here and there gaming. I've been training "Brazillian Jiu Jitsu" for about two years, under "Jeff Hougland." I love strategy games, they let me escape from all of lifes problems, although im best at first person shooters and first person flyers. I'm an amazing pilot in video games, and have even flown planes outside of gaming. Anyways enough about me, if ya wanna know more just ask away.

EXCEPTION ERROR UPDATE

TodTheWraith Blog
After Deleting and Reinstalling the EAWSG mod without the patch, I can now play with a few more ships as they no longer make the game crash. I am not sure weather this is a problem with the patch, or if I needed to change some settings before installing the mod itself. I have no encountered any "EXCEPTION ERROR"s in at least 2 days so im hoping its a fixed problem now.

EXCEPTION ERROR

TodTheWraith Blog

Ever since I first installed EAW and FOC (gold pack) I have been getting EXCEPTION ERROR's. I have looked online and found supposed fixes that I tried, but nothing has worked. The EXCEPTION ERROR seems to happen randomly in the main versions, and when files are missing in mods. What pisses me off is that right after installing (without patches or any downloaded file) the game won't work it just locks up, so i delete and reinstall the game. The same thing happens yet again; I click on shortcut, shortcut loads, I click on play: (FOC OR EAW) and then bam, locks up! After patching and downloading a fix(because patch didn't fix it) It will load the game and let me play, but randomly crashes and gives me this EXCEPTION ERROR. I recieve this error with any mod I download as well. I really love this game which I swear I have spent more hours trying to fix then playing, and am really lookin forward to this upcoming Pegasus Chronicles mod for FOC, but am getting DAMN tired of crashing. If anyone can offer any assistance in any way I would VERY much appreciate it.

Note: I have tried running as administrator and Windows XP service pack 3 (and individually instead of together) but that doesn't work either.
