No it is not. Use a 7zip decompressor like NanaZip Sourceforge.net so your system can scan the contents of the archive.

Just downloaded it now for testing and yes, it downloads a 7z file. This needs 7zip or NanaZip (fow Windows11)

Sorry for the minidumps. I am trying to finish 1-2 models a year and have not had the time to play a single game in years myself, so we need your help to get to the root cause of the dumps.

That is interesting as we do not change that effect. Any idea what model caused it?

Well... it never failed because it is not finished yet. As stated before it is a hobby project that has been going on for 14 years now. I plan to create 1 or 2 models a year which means it will probably take a long time to get all the models replaced. If you want it done sooner you can always try to participate.

Sorry, no clue. Does it also happen when you use the Dev.exe? What is the error message?

There is no real balance in this mod as we strived for staying true to the series.
I first envisioned having balance through hampering some techs for the elder races and minbari but unfortunately the AI in Sins is so dumb it cannot adapt to anything really.
The tech tree is also rather complicated which is mostly my fault. I wanted it to be dependent on some kind of historical progress with research that is beneficial but also with research along the way that is in the shot term detrimental to you. It also ***** up the AI I suppose.

No they don't. You need to supply antimatter using ships.

Hi, just wanted to chime in to say that any and all startup crashes (when starting a new game) can be solved by disabling minor factions. Don't know hwat we need to do to solve them but at the moment keep them turned of ;-)

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. As for your suggestions - anyone willing to do voice acting is welcome. But be aware that this project is extremely slow moving as besides me only 2 people working on it are left and we all see this as a „whenever we feel like it“ project at the moment. It started 12 years ago to be honest an most of my compatriots have left.
As for the music: Pauli Valkeejärvi is an absolute talent and I really hope he is well and sound and thanks him soo much for his compositions.
As for strike craft: they are not a source of crashes but a source of slow down happening late game. Still I would rather have them in then reduce them.

Sorry to hear that. We have some problems with some models it seems. You could try starting a game with only 1 race - you and 1 opponent using the same race. Then try one race after the other and report back which races are working for you

Not sure why some crashes occurs. Seems to be model related. I haven’t found the reason yet

Thanks for the kind words. Please keep in mind that this mod has been more than 10 years in the making and we still haven't finished even half the models. We are a very small team with members coming and going since the beginning. Currently we have 1 active member modding and another added recently helping us with this site. I am mostly lurking in the shadows reappearing every 2 month or so. But our active modder has sent me another batch of models which I will try to add to the release in the coming weeks (though private stuff and work do keep me occupied)

Agreed. I at first wanted to just include earth alliance and minbari and then add more from there. But as my compatriots were sending me files from all the different races it soon extended to all races but none rally finished. Also I didn’t want to include the first ones (vorlons and shadows) until the mod is completed but failed to do so for the same reasons. And I wanted to make the first ones really different from a gameplay perspective. More lingering and scheming and less direct approach until the late game. But the AI is too rigid and cannot survive while not e passing. So curtailing the colonisation techs breaks the AI in so many ways.
The size of the Vorlon Titan is the „official“ size compared to the other ships. We might downsize a little but it still should feel overwhelming. There once was a mod that enlarged planets and gravity wells to a more realistic size which would fit fine with the scale of the B5 Models.
Shadow Titan was a flawed experiment of mine to create the shadow death cloud but it has so many issues. Graphically and gameplay wise
