Good news! It's not neccesary to compile GZDoom to play on linux :D If you've got any Debian-based distro like Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Peppermint, etc, you can install the binaries from the repository found in this site:

Nice idea to put these beautiful ladies in a loading screen.
I say don't worry, just work with generic models and then when you have some concrete work done, modelers will get interested.
The advantage is that we'll have earlier a mod release (pre-pre-alpha or something) and then, if you find modelers, you will be able to replace the models by new ones.

I as a fan don't care too much for the future of CnC as I can still enjoy the old ones and modders can still make new things out of them, meanwhile, the amount and the quality of CnC mods is huge.
About the mod, I always have wanted a mod that puts all KW stuff into TW, but just that, so I'm happy with version 1.5.
About version 1.6, I'm not very interested as I don't like mods that randomly use CnC4 units into TW, I like a sense of order in mods. So, maybe I'd love to see new sub-factions that use CnC4 units.
One of the things that I look forward the most are the missions, I'm sure I'll have a good time playing them.
Really nice design, like something in between TD and TS, the only strange thing is the gun, because they were implemented in harvesters only since the 3rd tiberium war. Anyway I love it.
Very nice. I don't know if this is possible in this engine but can you add some demolition animations when a building is destroyed, like chimneys falling in the refinery, the chimney collapsing in the power plant or the crane falling from the war factory? (Just throwing some ideas) (BTW that's what I always missed in Renegade).

Even more detailed maps? That's so cool. Looking forward to new maps and map remakes (they were so few in 1.2). What I didn't like too much about them is that some of them are too symmetric, I prefer the maps that you can explore without knowing too much about them.
The new UI looks spectacular.
The AI in 1.2 is good but it can be improved.
I wanna say, what I like the most about this mod is that it looks so damn pretty, from the map design to the menus.

In my opinion, this map looks too bright and green, and it doesn't fit into the post-apocalyptic tiberium world from TW. I'd like to see a red zone some day :).
My brother TiberCarlito told me that the sun reflex doesn't look good, too pixelated comparing to APB, the point is, it could be improved.
About the GDI harvester, is it possible in this engine to add the harvesting animation?

I think this map doesn't fit into a TW mod. The blue zones of the world during the Third Tiberium War are very few, I doubt if there even exist tropical weather zones. So in my opinion, to make this map to fit, you've got to change the weather, have a cloudy yellow sky, some houses corroded by tiberium... I don't know, maybe some few giant tiberium crystals here and there... like a yellow zone. Just my opinion ;) .

I don't want to be a beta tester just because I have to enter an IRC server and I don't use IRC, in fact, I think it's a very bad and difficult way to get beta testers. I think you should make it easier just by PM you at Mp-gaming.com forums. That way I'd like a lot to be a beta tester.
But the real changes are in the gameplay more than in the assets. There aren't too much new assets, but INI editing... I worked A LOT in that.

You have many boring screenshots like this one, with very few modifications, I suggest you to put lots of beta things in a single screenshot and that would be awesome...
An considering this is one of the last ones, it's a shame that the nod soldier is the same from vanilla TS, I remember the beta one is a lot smaller.
