I LOVE the whisp particle effects. That was one of my favorite parts about Ocarina of Time Kokiri Forest as a kid.

Do we need to purge earlier versions like before? or just stack them...

Sounds about right given how amazing windows 10 is.

Thanks for the fix.

There we go! That fixed it.

I feel that it should be noted for the record books. Loading a non-mod map freaks out the game.

Just checked and yes it does. I was able to load several different scenarios including the tutorial after I disabled HC.

So I get the following error every time I try to load the game. In my mod list: 0 A.D is above Hyrule. That was the only way I could get it to load the mod.

Much to our regret we must report the program has encountered an error.

Please let us know at Trac.wildfiregames.com and attach the crashlog.txt and crashlog.dmp files.

Details: unhandled exception (PSERROR_Game_World_MapLoadFailed("Failed to load map.
Check application log for details."))

Location: unknown:0 (RtlUnicodeStringToInteger)

Call stack:

(error while dumping stack: No stack frames found)
errno = 0 (No error reported here)
OS error = 0 (no error code was set)

Try auto resolving the fight first.

Find the files of the game on your computer. Normally here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sega\Medieval II Total War

Make a folder named "Mods"

Install the game there.

Enjoy.

That means you need to extract the files. Try WinRar. Its free.

"The Hero of Time has chosen to return to the past, a choice that ultimately has ruined the charts of history and sent Hyrule into chaos. Major wars that were already decided have unmade themselves, allowing fallen armies a second chance at these critical events in Hyrule's history." -The_Undying_Nephalim

Mod has worked perfect for me so far, however the persistent thing is the sound. Once again it works all the way to the mode selection appears. After that, no sound occurs no matter what I do. I check all my sliders and my files seem to be working just fine. All the audio files are there also. I'm lost as to what to do. I miss the epic sounds and music ;-;

Has anyone else reported audio issues?

You are correct. Undying re-implemented that they have to win fights in order to recruit. The graveyard was the "hive a trickle of bodies" building, but I don't know if that is still true.

Your core files and the mod are in different locations. Find the files for the vanilla game, make a folder called Mods, then a folder called Hyrule in the mod folder and place all the Hyrule Total War files there.

Didn't Neph remove the "convert settlements to Hyrule"?

I'm pretty sure that is supposed to happen. Like with the Gerudo, it forces you to have multiple settlements and plan your expansion/building.

Hum. I have the original CD version. So what I do is I made a Hyrule folder in my "mod" folder in the original Sega file. It launches there for me.

Here is my launch location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sega\Medieval II Total War\mods\Hyrule

UPDATE: I was successful in changing the launch location for the desktop icon; however, it did not solve my sound issue. All sound stops once the intro cinematic ends. On the bright side, I saved myself an extra click!

Good update Neph, the campaign is starting to feel better and better.

Works great! Only thing is is that my sound still doesn't work. I think it stems from me using the vanilla launcher, since this issue didn't happen until I started using that to launch the game. The desktop icon gives me the wrong location. OH! I'm going to try to change the launch location and see if that works.

Seems like a file is missing. I'd suggest you uninstall all files and then reinstall. I'm sure Undying will be with you soon to clear this up.

No. She simply has a lot of health based on the fact she is a "boss" character. I always took her down with archers, but she is tough since she moves so fast.

He may have removed it since their rework. I know though, that any settlement they own, you can build a graveyard that allows you to train troops to replenish.

The type of troop is tied to the original owners of the settlement/region.
