Sure thing , I ran into some trouble while creating the textures for this but I have fix it now, I just need to create the feathers behind his head and then I will send you the files :)
the Game model is about:
so that and about 100 - 150 polys for the feathers.
yeah ofcourse ... you don't use the highpoly models for the game, you use them to create normal maps/displacement maps so low poly(game models) looks high poly.
The game model will be around 7-9k polys or < 20 000 tris
No, I just fixed and optimized it, and textured it ofcourse, I guess Karela could tell you who made it.
Great :) .. 7-9k polys (around 18k tris right?) shouldn't be any problem at all.

Polycount ... ? .. Um I dono ... maybe 1 million or 2 ? .... I will build the lowpoly model later whenthe high poly model is done. Im not really sure how much the low poly will be .. it kind of deppends on how much he is going move and how many parts of him will move, and how big he is compare to the player.
well as many as you guys need really, but for perfomence sake as many as possible.
What type of roofing is it you need?
its also good if you link or send me some reference pictures on how you you guys want it, or if you perfer I make something up you can tell me that as well , the more info I get the better.
as for the darkness , yeah it kinda dark but that is because I didnt do any fancy render ... just the standard 3ds diffused lightning. I thought I'd wait to see how it would look ingame and make change if needed then, brighten up the texture is really easy anyway. :)
