One thing I really really like about Fading Dusk is just how "lived-in" it feels. New and more factions is one thing, but it's not enough for you guys to have us fight The Forgotten instead of Nod/GDI for once, but they also make use of technology that falls outside their tech tree, not as a "oh, they captured a GDI base and are now using it against us", they make active use of "tech structures" and units, left over refineries and harvesters from two Wars back, different kinds of walls, etc.
I really cannot overstate how ******* much I love that, little window dressings that betray a lot of thought and a lot of love for the universe. It's been present in here from the start, but the latest GDI mission brought it to my attention really strongly with the discovery of the two IFV's much like how in Sun you could find some old Mammoth Tanks just itching to get another go at Kane.
I'm ashamed to admit that when I first saw this mod it didn't really grab my attention. Now I'm glad to have tried it, because I am chomping at the bit for more of it. Thank you so much for this amazing experience.
Hell yeah, more lore. Nice and spooky too, more horrible Tiberium monsters is a win in my book.

RIP Apollo drone, you will be missed. Still, it will be nice to have a repairer who doesn't die when the fighting starts.

A question about GDI base defences, if you will. Are component towers still going to be a thing, or are they being replaced with "proper" turrets? And if the latter, are we going to be able to build those turrets directly into walls/sandbags like component towers can be, or will we need to sell the wall/bag slot before placing the turret there?

So, is CABAL becoming a fully fledged faction, or is it a Campaign Only thing where he'll sport some "Boss" versions of existing units. I'm totally okay with that, I'm much more interested in the campaign than in the multiplayer, but I felt like asking regardless.
Is this Nod only, or are GDI and the Covenant getting this too?
I'm voting Mutant, you seem to have something of an idea in mind for them anyway, what with that reskinned Armadillo I saw in the end cutscene and I feel that the conflict between them and GDI wasn't super fleshed out. Scrin make for a close second, I'd love to see your spin on them in this alt timeline.

The Viper. That was the Nod bike, right? Nod without their classic attack bike seems a bit strange, but I do love the scorpion-esque look this boi has going.

True, true. Out of curiosity, why did you make the Mutants purple? Was it just a love of the colour, or is there some meaning to it that's escaped me?
Purple faction colour, eh? As I recall, that's the colour of the Mutants in this mod, at least the ones that Vega was with.
