Cheers, I've updated the link.
Cheers, I've updated the link.
I am enamoured by the sheer absurdity and hilarity of it; it's great! :)
Thanks - fixed now!
No problem! When you do reach that point, feel free to shoot me a message and I'd be happy to feature the mod.
Can you get some gameplay videos of the mod in action?
Fixed it up, thanks for spotting!
The thumbnail is from The Dark Mod, which is set in Victorian/Steampunk times
We have more lists debuting throughout the month and I think you both will be pleasantly surprised :)
This list was written just before Zombie Panic Source posted their update, but you should definitely vote for that if you think it deserves to make it to the next round :)
Total Chaos is very cool, but as you can see we were already a little saturated with Doom mods and wanted to try and inject more variety to highlight the breadth of mods that ModDB has to offer. That said, be sure to cast your own personal votes for Total Chaos if you want to see it in the Top 100!
Is that the Jet Force Gemini OST and SFX? Very cool.
Let me know the name of the mod and I'll get in touch with the team to see about adding it to ModDB!
This attitude is addressed in the opening paragraphs.
Awesome, a shame it never got finished though. Had no idea DN got a gig at Arkane, that's super cool.
That sounds amazing! Do you remember what it was called or who was working on it?
We are not pushing paid mods, and this is not a paid announcement. We want to hear what you think of the situation, now that the paid mods storefront is live.
I am very aware of the opinion of ModDB users on the subject of paid mods, having written multiple articles on the subject since this new initiative was first announced. I'm also aware that despite what Bethesda wants to call it, this is paid mods by another name.
Thanks!
Good question! I'd suggest popping over to the development thread and asking: Shootersforever.com
Total conversions at the high end, sure, but also something like a deep survival mod that at least changes the game in a significant way. I personally wouldn't put up cash for skins or new items.
When a mod becomes something large-scale and significant, like The Dark Mod, or Enderal, I'd be more than happy to pay for the experience - provided I'd be able to trial it first (just to see if it works) and that future updates to that mod or total conversion did not require additional purchases.
This is to account for the time difference between the AU posting of this article and the US release of Trials on Tatooine. It's confusing, I know - I apologise.
