Maybe consider putting up a Kickstarter? I'm sure that - with the playable mod as a really good concept demo - people would just throw their money at you (preferably with a money cannon). It would fund the game and maybe help making it even more awesome!

I'm sorry. I'll post a status update on this, but the mod is on hiatus. But if there's one thing I can promise, it's that I'll definitely release. I just don't know when.

No worries, I haven't forgotten about it. It's just on a short hiatus, as I have stuff do do.
Expect it to be fully released before March. Currently, it has about 1 1/2 hours of gameplay!

Yeah, as this is my first try on creating a custom story, I thought I want to keep it simple. If this is well received, I'll probably start creating own stuff for a new plot.
