sweet jesus... why not just apply an fov fix in a mod instead of altering the hand coords in each file? that must have taken so much time and effort for such a simple fix that is already accurately addressed in a number of mods/engines. and why are there mapobjects, powerups, gibs, flags models etc etc in the pk3?

there's some great potential there! the caution tape slapped everywhere is a bit tacky... it was bad enough on the original GL! the skinning isn't as good as the geometry, some substance painter magic would work wonders. just my 2 cents, but fantastic work nonetheless, sill keep an eye out for updates

This is something I've wanted to do for many years, and finally someone is doing a brilliant set of accurately remastered materials! ggrat4_2 is looking just so damn good.

I would ditch the bolts on the metal3_5 floor to keep it more akin to the original - there were already more than enough bolts all over Q2 than to go adding even more! If anything, you could use Q4 as an inspiration - they generally used slots/holes instead.

As for making the lighting more colourful - the game was originally essentially a tech demo of 'hey look we can do coloured lighting now' (hence orange skies) so not sure if it needs even more colour.
