So.
Here we are.
Just back from a long day at school and totally sweaty from team practice. Our coach gave us the usual end-of-practice speech:
"Everyone made a lot of improvement today. Only one more time of practice before competition, so Da Jia dou go home and practice all your moves, especially the ones you got wrong. We're in the final lap now, so eat lots of food to keep up your strength, don't go to bed too late, and don't forget to zhuyi yingyang (roughly translated, pay attention to nutrients)."
At this point team captain interrupted, "So, avoid them at all costs then!" Everyone laughed until coach yelled out, "STAND AT ATTENTION! Dajia xinkule! Jintian shang dao zher. Tongxuemen, zaijian!"
At which everyone made the fist and palm salute and screamed at the top of their lungs, "LAOSHI ZAIJIAN!"
All in all, a good day's work.
But still too short til competition on Sunday.
I think it's the title that makes us both proud to be competing and nervous as all get out:
"首都高校大赛"
Last year was held at Tsinghua University (can you believe they have several gyms? that and 20 cafeterias! the place is a small city unto itself.) This year it's at BeiGongDa (Construction University). I asked my classmates but the only thing anyone's heard about it is that it abounds in shuai ge. I guess we'll see soon enough.
So.
This is blogging.
A lame first attempt, I must say.

That awkward moment when class is over, and you're not sure whether to leave as quick as possible or stay to look polite.
