For a while now the new version (Version 2.9) of the ST CoP Weapon Pack has been out, but the only version you find on moddb and any other english site is 2.8. Version 2.9 has so far been stuck on russian modding sites. With this post I hope I can change that so everybody gets easy access to it. :)
This guide will contain downloads to all files of the newest version aswell as a full english translation and a guide for the installation. This translation is on a big part based on the 2.8.7 translation (I sadly don't know who the original author is of that one, if anybody knows please tell me so I can credit them!), however I added all new weapons, fixed several translations and expanded on some existing. I also added tranlsations for the new outfits that got added with 2.9 and redid all nimble dialogues since they were wrong in lots of parts due to all the changes. I also cleaned up the translation files so they are easier to work with for future versions. The 2.8.7 translation was very messy (e.g. for every weapon description it changes color 2 times for no reason, etc.).

It's on a russian modding site, so if you speak russian you can support the devs there! Also should I ever get a notification to take down the file uploads I ofcourse will take them down. You can still find them over there, you just have to go through it with google translator.

When installing ST CoP WP 2.9 don't forget to copy over the files for the bin folder. The 2.9 version comes with DLL files while 2.8 didn't. They are important. The translation is made up of 3 files:
- st_items_weapons.xml
- st_items_outfit.xml
- st_dialogs_zaton.xml
They are already in the correct files structure, so just copy the gamedata folder over the main game folder.

I have a problem trying to install the mod, whenever I copy the "bin" files to the CoC "bin" folder and launch the game, instead of the window of Call Of Chernobyl I get the window of the original Call Of Pripyat an then the game crashes and I have to reinstall CoC.
I have done the steps correctly and tried it, but every time I try to it just crash, it won´t work for me.
This mod is for CoP only. CoC is not supported, sorry.
This would explain the crashes.
Do u plan on making it for CoC? Cause that's the only reason im looking at it ;( really dissapointed now ;(
Sry no. I only provide a place to download it and an english translation, I did not create the mod itself. Minor tweaks I can do for myself, but anything beyond that is out of my reach. Plus I don't have any experience with CoC myself.
