So I got the beta running and have a question: How the hell are we meant to make a pickaxe? There's iron that can only be harvested with a pick, and to make a pick you need iron. Nobody sells iron OR a pickaxe! Fix this so the game can actually be played, otherwise the crafting and purchasing options are very limited.
Furthermore, spawn stronger zombies in later waves like in the alpha, rather than just spawning a billion lag inducing zombies at once. With the exception of the map itself, the beta feels more like the alpha and the alpha feels more like the beta.
It's kind of bad that this is still on sale since it's supporters cannot run it.
I support this, and so do many people on the Greenlight page. It seems to be the only thing missing from this game. Just a basic online versus component, and maybe co-op if you want to push it a little further. That extra effort goes a long way if it's possible to implement.
*make some of the quests*
Definitely found the game got much easier when I stopped relying on energy weapons. XD Really liking it, but the objectives such as people teleporting randomly is kind of annoying. I recall reading somewhere that you had plans for 2 player co-op, when did you plan to add that?
Swift response! Well, I am starting out in this game so I am trying the simpler missions with objectives like "protect x person for 1 minute, then get the disc without being attacked, then kill y person, then bring the disc to x." I will have problems like whilst there is a big difficulty curve early on fighting off multiple people on just over 1500 credits and learning the guns etc, my targets have a nasty habit of teleporting into the distance. For example the guy I am meant to be protecting may randomly teleport over 5000 miles away whilst the timer is still going down. And more inconveniently, that ultra fast guy who I spent several minutes working his health down inside a building has now vanished randomly. All these factors make the quests close to unplayable in their current state.
Hey, just bought the game and I am quite impressed with it, but a question; Bugs aside, are the quests intended to be as difficult as they are now?!
