Well, what can I say? I'm just your above-average guy, with an abundance of free time at the moment. I'm currently creating a mod for Star Wars Empire at War: Forces Of Corruption, but after that (If it's ever done) who knows.

It has the models, the hardpoints, the data files, all the information required to build the new units and stuff, (or most of it) without allowing people to build them yet. I'm going to fix a good deal of other stuff over the course of the next week, whenever I get home, and wake up from the long nap I shall take. After that, I plan on uploading a 5.95 patch or something which will allow the building of new units.

A new version is currently uploading. It's really broken, but it's a version. I'll upload a hot fix for some of the issues later, as well as a better/less broken version in a week or two.

I've tried to give her a ship in the past. I remember I ****** it up extremely. So I don't know if I'll attempt to give her another ship, but I definitely will make her useful before I get to 1.0.

Playable? Probably not. I'll probably start working on the actual play-ability right after the next update. Right now, I'm focusing on getting them into the game, and making sure their units work.
As for steam, I said this a little while ago, but it's burred in comments. I currently can't get it to work with steam at the moment, because MODPATH= does not want to work. I've attempted it a few times, and all resulting in failure. I'll continue to attempt some more, and hopefully get it working before 1.0.

I didn't even see this. A bit of both, sorta. So far, there is only one hero, a new Viceroy. There will probably be more/new heroes in the future, but right now, I'm focusing on making sure the units I've already added in the game are working, before I add/make more.

Well, unfortunately, that can be caused from a massive number of things. If you really want to try the mod out, I'd suggest using an early version, and wait for the next release (which should be soon).

Anyway, they can, but I felt for balancing purposes, it would be better if they didn't. Will it stay like that? I have no idea. I've only done minor balances, and right now, I'm currently focusing on getting the new units/factions, in the game & working. After that, I'll upload that version, try getting it to work with steam(if it still doesn't), then focus on balancing. After that's all said and done, I'll optimize the upload/download, start making lore/my own campaigns, & release a final version.

Select "Read More" and scroll to the bottom of the new text.
But if you want a more detailed explanation, here you go. You'll need WinRar to extract the .rar file.
1: Open Data.RAR.
2: Locate the Star Wars Empire At War Forces Of Corruption Folder (For me it's C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption).
3: Rename the current Data Folder in the Forces Of Corruption Folder to Data (Original).
4: Drag the Data folder from the Data.RAR into the Forces Of Corruption Folder.
And that should be it.

Well, at the moment, there's a lot of random stuff added. However, only about half of it works. Thus it still being labeled "Alpha". I hope by version 0.7 or 0.8, to have the majority of things added/working, and I can start on balancing/minor tweaks, getting ready to label it as "Beta."
However, there's a few changes to the Equal Footing Galactic conquest map in the sense that each playable faction only starts with one planet. The Three main factions have had their prices/build times modified, the strengths(in my opinion) of the factions have been strengthened and the weaknesses have been made larger to compensate. That's all I can really think of that is working, but I hope you download it and test it out, and then come back and post some bugs/ideas you find/think of, it would help me out a lot. I haven't changed any part of the campaign, that I can recall. So it's probably an issue with one of the units. Right now, the only changed map is the largest one (can't remember it's name right now).
I'll be doing the other galactic conquests later, and may include a custom campaign (who knows).

I was thinking of it, and they probably will, all though, a smaller faction like the soon-to-be-added CIS. If I could find some more land models, a lot of (REALLY) minor factions could be added, example being the Gungans on Naboo, and small stuff like that.

Hey guys, and possibly gal. Just a small update in terms of when the next update should be.
It should be soon. As of this moment, I'm focusing on the republic faction, while slowing working on the hutt AI still. At this very second, I'm creating some sound files so the republic doesn't seem like a carbon copy of the rebels/empire, but with new units(Yes, this means that you will be able to play as the republic, eventually). I've added several(HA) new models to the game, thanks to Warb Null, and many others. So yeah, decently large update coming in soon.

I have plenty of backups, the backups aren't the problem. The problem is I don't have a usable computer. Apparently, reading is not a strong suit for you guys. "All progress on the mod has stopped until I get a new computer"
The summary even says "I have broken my laptop."

After a third attempt, I've found a third way to make the AI stop working entirely. Unfortunately, that's not what I want to do. So, I shall continue to work on the AI until I get it.

Just a tip that a lot of mods miss, make sure you get the Mouse_Collide_Override_Sphere_Radius to be almost exact (It's more of an oval instead of a sphere, just so you know). If you don't already know, this is the area around the planet that is clickable to actually get to the planet. A lot of mods don't actually change this, and when they have two planets, really close together, it tends to favour clicking the first one, heavily.

It's explained in the first download but I'll explain it again.
Download the files, and put the XML folder in the Star Wars Empire At War Forces Of Corruption data folder. And put the Text folder in the same place, overwriting any files already there. If you wish to uninstall the mod, just delete the xml folder.

Update guys! In regards to the Hutt faction, my two original attempts to create an AI have failed. so I shall continue to make new attempts until I succeed! But unfortunately, that means the next update won't be for a while. From what everyone says, this process can take months. I'm going to try to do it in about a week. So, that's basically it. Next Friday (17th) I should be able to release an update, even without the Hutt AI. It'll (hopefully) have changed a few of the rebel heroes around, bringing them up to par, as well as balancing the IG-88's.

Anyways. I haven't made enough headway on the Hutt AI yet to consider releasing a version this week unfortunately. I will probably release one next Friday, whether or not I have the Hutt AI finished.

Prince Xizor for the Underworld. Should I include him? His model is already in the game and everything, it's just a matter of coding at this point. He'd be stronger(AI combat power wise) than IG-88/Bossk, but weaker than Urai.
Or, should I add him as, the "Final Boss" of the pirates and make him a ridiculously strong challenge?
